The Forum AGM was held on Saturday, 28 November 2009 at Yardley Hastings Village Hall.

The 2010 AGM will be held on Saturday, 27 November at Barton Seagrave.  Peter Barratt will be the guest speaker on “Alice Hawkins: A suffragette in the family”.  

 

In 2010 Northamptonshire County Forum organised five successful outings which attracted members from branches throughout the county.  There was a guided tour of St Sepulchre’s Church, Northampton, one of four Round Churches in the country and the Northamptonshire Regiment’s Church. There were informative guided  walks round  Helpston, Desborough, Brackley and Wollaston .  Opportunities were given to visit Clare Cottage and the Parish Church at Helpston, the Parish Church and Heritage Centre at Desborough and  the Museum, Curiosity Cottage and Beacon Hill at Wollaston. Much was revealed of Brackley’s past as members looked at the buildings in this interesting town.

 

The Corby Branch also organised a visit to Ely Cathedral on 3 July.
